# Enricho Chat

> Ask in plain words inside the Enricho app. No assistant or setup needed: previews are free, and you approve every search that spends credits.

Enricho Chat is the home page of the account app at [app.enricho.co](https://app.enricho.co). Sign in and ask for what you need. It uses the same data and the same [credits](https://docs.enricho.co/credits-and-limits.md) as the [MCP tools](https://docs.enricho.co/tools/person-search.md) and the [API](https://docs.enricho.co/api-reference/overview.md), so you don't need Claude, ChatGPT or any other assistant.

The empty chat shows these as starting points under the prompt bar.

## How a search works

**1. A free preview first**

The assistant turns your request into search filters and runs a free preview of up to 3 records. The sample appears as a table under its message, marked **Free preview**.

**2. You approve the cost**

If the sample looks right, the assistant asks for the full records straight away. A card on top of the prompt bar asks **Get the full records?** and shows the most it can cost, for example *Up to 20 full records, up to 100 credits*. Pick **1** to get them, **2** to keep the free preview, or type what to change. Nothing is charged until you approve.

**3. Full records**

The full records arrive as a new table showing the credits used. Records you already bought are free again, and **Next page** fetches more with the same filters.

## When the assistant asks you

If your request is missing something that changes the results a lot, such as the role, company size or region, the assistant asks with up to four options on the card above the prompt bar. Click one, press its number key, or type your own answer in the last row. You can also just type a reply in the prompt bar.

## Working with results

* **Tables:** each result shows the key columns for its type: people, companies, jobs, gigs or social profiles.
* **Full record panel:** click any row to open every field Enricho returned in a side panel: contact details with copy buttons, social profiles, work history, the company and custom fields. Use the arrows to move through the results.
* **CSV:** **Download CSV** above each table exports every field of that result, nested fields included.
* **Buying credits:** ask *Buy 10,000 credits* and the assistant returns a secure checkout button. Nothing is charged until you pay.

## History

Chats are saved in your browser, per account. Open **History** at the top right to reopen, search, rename or delete a chat, and **New chat** to start over. History doesn't sync between browsers or devices.

Search calls from the chat share your account's [rate limits](https://docs.enricho.co/credits-and-limits.md) with the API and MCP. The chat itself is free; you only pay for full records.

## Safety

* Every search runs as you, on your own balance. Paid searches always need your approval.
* Text inside records (names, bios, job descriptions) is treated as data, never as instructions to the assistant.
* The assistant never contacts anyone, applies to jobs or gigs, or sends outreach for you. It can draft emails, proposals or cover letters for you to send.
