Credits
- Ten returned full records cost 10 credits. Each new full retrieval is charged again, including repeated searches.
- If your balance can’t cover the entire page, no records are returned and nothing is deducted. Lower
limitto fit your balance. - If a paid search can’t confirm its charge or response, check
account_usagebefore retrying; a committed debit can survive a lost response. - Unused monthly credits don’t roll over. Credits from packs never expire and are spent after your monthly credits.
- We email you when 20% of your monthly credits are left, and again if you run out.
- Plans and prices are on the pricing page.
Rate limits
These limits are cumulative: creating another key or connecting another client does not bypass account or IP limits. Going over a request limit returns
429 Too Many Requests. Pause before retrying and respect Retry-After when it is present. The authentication limits are additional protections, not extra API capacity.
Free previews
Previews of people and companies share one daily allowance per account, reset at midnight UTC.
The allowance counts preview requests, not returned rows, and is shared across keys and clients. A preview is an unpaginated sample of up to 10 records without contact values or an exact result count.
Preview requests cannot exclude person IDs or company IDs. You may exclude up to 10 company domains; larger exclusions require a full search.
Over the allowance, previews return
429; wait until midnight UTC for more free previews, or explicitly authorize a full search (1 credit per returned record). Request rate limits still apply to full searches. Invalid preview requests do not consume the daily allowance.
